The first and more common method is to use Instant Coffee, but see down further, you can also use grounds
Ingredients:

- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Milk (approximately 1 cup)
- Cocoa powder or cinnamon for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine instant coffee, sugar, and hot water.
Using a hand mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture on high speed for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes thick and forms stiff peaks. The color should turn to a light, fluffy, and creamy texture.
If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can adjust the amount of sugar to your liking.
Fill a glass with ice cubes (if desired) and pour in the milk.
Spoon the whipped coffee mixture on top of the milk, creating a layered effect.
Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or cinnamon.
Use a straw or spoon to mix the whipped coffee with the milk before drinking.
Enjoy your homemade whipped coffee!
... but some purists might ask, can it be made with Ground Coffee?
Yes, you can substitute ground coffee for instant coffee, but the preparation method will be different. Instant coffee is dehydrated brewed coffee, so using ground coffee will require a slightly altered process to achieve a similar whipped texture. Here's a modified recipe for whipped coffee using ground coffee:
Whipped Coffee with Ground Coffee
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons ground coffee
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Milk (approximately 1 cup)
- Cocoa powder or cinnamon for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground coffee, sugar, and hot water.
Use a hand mixer or a whisk to beat the mixture on high speed for about 7-10 minutes. You'll need to beat it longer than with instant coffee to achieve the desired fluffy texture.
The mixture will become thick and form stiff peaks similar to the instant coffee version.
If you prefer a sweeter taste, adjust the amount of sugar to your liking.
Keep in mind that using ground coffee will result in a different flavour profile and may have a slightly grainier texture compared to instant coffee.Adjustments to the process and ingredient proportions may be needed to suit your taste preferences.
Whichever way you choose to do it ....enjoy!
